A white knight chess piece made of carved ivory, supported on a pedestal with a circular base and revolving, concentric ball mid-section. The knight is depicted on horseback with his left hand holding the reins and the right hand drawn back. The piece is flat on one side. There is evidence of repair at the top of the ball.
