The ownership of this object was transferred to Nigeria’s National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) in November 2022.

A bronze figure of a male (okpia) warrior. Benin City. The warrior is holding an Eban (ceremonial sword) in front of him with both hands. He is depicted wearing a coral neckpiece and leopard tooth necklace. His wrists are adorned with metal cuffs. The figure is missing the right leg. Made by Igun Eronmwon guildmembers (bronze and brass casters).
