hair tube

Hair tube from the Wai, Wai people of Guyana. The tube is made from a hollow cylindrical piece of wood which is decorated with white beads, with bands of pink and purple at the top, middle and base. Long toucan feathers extend from one end of tube, which are interspersed with strands of brown string.
