oil lamp (lamp (lighting devices)); handwarmer

Gyroscopic oil lamp made of pierced brass, formed of two halves with a hinge on one side and secured by a hook at the other. There is openwork decoration of floral scrolls in bands around the body, and decoration of lotus flowers on the top and bottom. Inside is a mechanism to keep the light upright when the ball is rolled.
