Long narrow length of dark cream tabby-woven banana-leaf textile decorated with brown patterned bands and fringing at both short ends.The patterned bands consist of 3 framed stripes decorated with diamond/lattice pattern, and bordered with dentate bands using supplementary weft.They are separated by 2 bands of fringing. Each consists of 3 narrow stripes of fringing inserted in a row into the weave. One set is shorter and wider with both ends of the fibre cut to create a fine dense fringe.The other is longer and narrower with one cut end braided.The end of the warp at either end has been tied with string, and is left as an additional fringe.
