spear (weapons: missiles & projectors)

Spear with a metal blade socketed on the end of a long wooden shaft. It has a lozenge-shaped blade, with a central ridge lengthwise on both sides. The shaft is decorated with two sets of red and black hair in alternating bands, the top set with five longer hair bands, the bottom set with traces of some very short tufted fringes and below that eight tufted hair and bristle bands, the hair getting longer on each band towards the base. The two hair sets are separated by a space for a handgrip. The butt end of the shaft is pointed.
