Adem Holness

Adem Holness led on the 696 programme as Music Curator.
Alongside his work at the Horniman, Adem also works as Relationship Manager (Music) at Arts Council England. Adem is a senior artistic programmer and cultural strategist, having been responsible for arts and cultural organisations, talent development programmes, live music festivals, tours and gigs, He specialises in enabling the ambitions of music artists and creatives, predominantly within UK Jazz, Afrobeat, Grime, Reggae, Electronic and R&B music. Adem is a Clore Leadership fellow and fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is currently one of 20 music industry professionals in Power Up’s Participant Programme, part of its long-term initiative to address anti-Black racism and racial disparities in the music sector.
