Diving into the sea of endless rhythms from the African diaspora, WNDRLST team up with Horniman to bring a free event for friends and family. Playing all the best Amapiano to Afrobeats right in the heart of south London’s most adored park. We bring some of nightlife’s most exciting emerging talents out for an unforgettable afternoon of live performance and DJ sets.

The crowd controller plays no games when it’s time to dance. Angolan MC Tsunami Tânia brings the full rush of Kuduro to us, alongside the upcoming DJ star DJ Kendz.

Flying the flag for all music from the heart of Africa, the world first got to see DJ Kendz rip sets from his viral sets on TikTok. Raised in the belly of Angolan music through the training of his father, DJ Kendz is set to be part of the endless talent coming out of the DJ scene in London.

Working with the likes of Grammy Award Winning Producer Juls to playing at the infamous Piano House party Solaariss joins us for unforgettable B2B with Dibs. Innovating any live DJ performance with a kiss of unforgettable melodies and riffs, the London-based saxophonist knows what to do when it’s time to party.

International DJ and veteran to the black music scene, there is no genre Selecta Suave is not fit for. DJing for the likes of DLT (Days Like This), Chivas Regal to Adidas his touch to every record will leave you wanting more.

There will also food stalls on the day, including Nigerian food from Mama Nelly’s Kitchen and new-gen Caribbean cuisine from Sweet Dee’s Jerk.

5 August
The Voice of the People – an intimate live music event – showcased music including R&B, Jazz and Neo-soul. Celebrating the magnificent vocals of diverse London talent, this community event brought people together, creating a sense of belonging. Good times, high vibrations, and a memorable experience for all the family, inspired by the magic of the voice.

Tash LDN (host)
Tash LDN is a modern day entertainer. Someone who isn’t bound by a singular niche, but rather someone who has the ability to bring the niche of individuality to everything he does. After experiencing his first taste of what it means to be a host at Lovebox Festival in 2018, Tash LDN has gone on to host at a number of venues including The Roundhouse and Union Chapel.

Eleazar
South London native Eleazar encompasses a blend of R&B, Neo-Soul and Indie. Under the riffs and runs, she paints a picture with her words and melodies conveying her emotions and experiences. Song-writing from the age of 7, she pens her life through the lens of a poet and the mind of a lover, illustrating her highs and lows as a person who has always been an outlander.

Aaliyah Jasz
Leaving listeners spellbound, Aaliyah Jasz’s unique style and buttery vocals evoke the nostalgia of soft soul, showcase the poignant lyricism of folk and the smooth melodies of R&B. Recorded in her bedroom, her debut release Inhale Exhale (2021) is a meditative experience of swooning harmonies and lullaby-esque piano melodies that gently invite you to stop and be present for just a moment. For The Love of It, her subsequent single was released February 2023. Recorded live, it displays a 7-piece acoustic band and captures a dreamy, soulful pledge to revel in the magic within one self.

Aaliyah Jasz
DJ Courtz
DJ Courtz is a young multi-genre DJ with Caribbean heritage. Although he specializes in Soca, Afrobeats and Dancehall, he plays an extensive range of genres including R&B, Hip Hop and much more. This allows him to cater to a several audiences across a variety of ages and demographics. DJ Courtz has not only played at multiple UK venues including the Horniman Museum and Gardens and Croydon Library, but has also been booked to DJ in Spain, Portugal and Malta.
XOUL
Meet XOUL, a vocalist, actor and talented writer from South London. XOUL began his journey in the world of performance as an actor and studied at the Brit School where he found his passion for storytelling. Since then, xoul has refined his vision and skills in a way that combines his narrative storytelling with an R&B-indie fusion of music.

Ruth Brown
Ruth Brown has been a finalist on the Voice 2012 and also starred as Effie in the West End production of Dreamgirls. She recently got signed to a label in Chicago and is currently working on her album.
Nathalie Lindi
Born and raised in London, and borrowing sounds from her South African heritage, Nathalie Lindi’s song writing blends a variety of musical influences. She has been steadily gaining attention and accolades from those who have encountered her music and performances. In 2019 she was crowned the winner of the national Open Mic UK competition. She went on to become a recipient of the UK’s prestigious MOBO Awards “Unsung Class of 2022”.
