Horniman Museum Late: Pattern Up!

Enjoy an evening at the Horniman Museum Late with extended opening times and activities throughout the Museum.

This is both a party and a statement – a celebration of music, movement, and togetherness. In a world shaped by crisis – from climate breakdown to social injustice – local youth collectives are taking over the Horniman, telling their stories through performances, workshops, and conversations. It’s an invitation – we can build a different future for ourselves and our community… so let’s pattern up!

PATTERN Stage – Gallery Square

A space for bands and collectives, PATTERN Stage celebrates collaboration – showing how collectivity can create energy, joy and the hope for a better future.

Undeniable collective

8 – 8.30pm

Join Undeniable for a main stage takeover led by Koder with a live light show. On the night, Koder will be supported by a special guest grime cypher, featuring up-and-coming Lewisham artists. The energy will be Undeniable – you won’t want to miss It!

IRIE! dance theatre – Diverse Dance Styles

7.45 – 7.50pm

BA (Hons) Diverse Dance Styles students will perform an explosive hip-hop fusion piece.

Choir of young singers from across Lewisham, brought together by Lewisham Music. Now led by two of Lewisham’s top young singers and industry professionals, Basia and Valentine, the group brings fresh energy and powerful harmonies to every performance.

The UK’s leading dance theatre company working in the field of African and Caribbean Dance, presents: The Youth Company. These inspiring young dancers will be dancing a West African piece based around community.

VOICE Stage – Conservatory

Young voices take centre stage with radio, poetry and music. A space for rhythm, flow, and expression as our guests show the power of youth voice that share experiences and spark connection and stories come alive

Making Waves x Finding Rhythms Live

A showcase of music created in the flagship Making Waves programme. The programme supports young people at risk of offending and those impacted by the criminal justice system to express their creativity and share their stories through music.

Take part in a specially curated line up of talks on the topic of “youth voice and collective hope” by Radio Lewisham. Radio Lewisham is a diverse youth-led radio station giving a platform for all young people in the borough to share their views and creativity.
