Octonauts Storytelling and Craft
Join us for a special tale about the Octonauts crew and their newfound goldfish friend, Dunkie, as they search for a new home. Then, create your very own glow in the dark sea creature whilst learning about the amazing adaptations of deep-sea creatures and how they create their own light using bioluminescence.
About the book
The Octonauts are a crew of cute animals who love to explore the big blue ocean. From their underwater base, the Octopod, the eight intrepid friends are always ready for fun and excitement!
It was a sunny day under the South Pacific Ocean when… ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!
The Octonauts meet Dunkie, a goldfish who can’t stop growing. Finding an ocean big enough for him seems to be an impossible mission for the intrepid crew… until they discover a prehistoric, deep sea world. Is Dunkie really a goldfish after all?

- All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.
- Please arrive at the Pavilion 5 minutes before the workshop begins.
- Parents and carers will need to assist children while they take part in the craft element of the workshop.
- Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event. Other Octonauts titles will be available for purchase in the Museum shop.
