Free, drop in
Join our volunteer team on Saturday afternoons for family craft activities inspired by the Museum’s collections.

Learn about some of the 350,000 objects in the Horniman’s collections, and discover more about music, nature, wildlife, and the world around us.

Get stuck into some crafts and have fun with our wonderful volunteers at these free, drop-in sessions.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note: There is no Family Craft Saturday event on 31 October.

Get inspired by the trees in our Gardens and make your own autumn tree to celebrate the changing colours of the season.

This spooky season join us for a craft session to make little bats!

Join us for a special workshop led by Communal Clay in celebration of World Soil Day. Create clay sculptures, explore different textures, and use organic materials to build, shape and decorate your work.
