Celebrating our 125th year

On 29 June 2026, the Horniman will be 125 years old. Join us throughout the year for events that span creativity, community and culture, and share your ideas about what the next 125 years might bring for the Horniman.

Be one of the first to play and connect with nature in the new Kusuma Nature Play; a nature-themed play area, new cafe and improved access to our historic Nature Trail. And celebrate in the Museum and Gardens with a bumper summer season of activities – including a big birthday weekend – from fairs and live music, to late openings, crafts and storytelling.
