Model hat made of plant material. Twill woven, with two levels of peaks arranged in a circle around the top. A pellet bell is attached at the top centre, and five black and white hornbill feathers are inserted into the hat at the top. A band of fabric around the lower edge is decorated with a string of white beads stitched on in a wavy line. A loop formed of a string of white beads hangs below. Attached label reads: '155. Dayak, model of hat, used at feasts. Sadong, Sarawak.' and on reverse 'Coll. E. Bartlett.'.
