bodice (clothing: outerwear)

Bodice, upper part of red felt with a row of simple yellow cross stitch embroidery at the lower edge where it is joined to the lower part which is of black velvet bound above with yellow trim and simply embroidered with a band of scrolling in yellow, pink, green, white and blue wool. Lined with cream fabric; armholes, neck and lower edge trimmed with fabric binding in pink, blue and pink respectively.
