Carved and painted wooden mask of a man with a thick drooping moustache, thick eyebrows and hair, all carved in broad strokes. There are deep crevices on the face, and furrows on his forehead. The nose is hooked and very prominent. The eyes are wide open, with round apertures at the centre. A note nailed inside reads: 'Ca 1860' on one side, and '[Haterer] maske Traunstein' on the other.
