sword (weapons: edged); sword sheath (sheath (weapons: accessories)); baldric

Silver-coloured sword with a patterned handle. The handle is covered with shagreen, has a small metal face on each side, and is bound with strips of plaited yellow fabric. The sword is housed in a wooden sheath that has been strengthened with metal strips, which have become rusty. Attached to the sheath is a baldric. The strap of the sash has black and brown patterning. There are two fabric flaps below the sword sheath which have more intricate patterns on. The fibres connecting the sash to the sword sheath are partially broken.
