Wooden skin printing block for tattoos, with a raised carved design of a lion holding a sword on both sides. A reddish pigment colours the surface of one of the sides. There is a hole through the block at one end.
On one side of the block are two labels. One is circular with 'Tt. / 57.' on it, and the other is rectangular, reading, 'H. LING ROTH'.
