Some denting of bell and of bell expansion close to third valve. The mouthpiece, by the same maker, bears the address 88 Rue des Marais, Paris (also inscribed: Modèle Koenig) and dates from after 1856. Serial number on underside of third valve cap: A468. Stamped: Antoine Courtois Rue De Caire 21, Paris (inscribed: Brévetés; and: Facteur du Conservatoire).
