Clarinet in B flat, light brown wood, partly stained, horn mounts, not uniform in design or material. Four brass keys, flat, two square and two rhomboidal, mounted in turned rings (no C sharp). The D sharp key is a half swallow-tail. Bell with turned wooden rim. Sounding length (length without mouthpiece) is 60.7 cm. Ebony mouthpiece not original. Section above bell probably a replacement.
