Shadow puppet made from brown paper depicting a foreigner, Sabrang gelung ukel, attached to a central spliced rod. The flesh parts are painted brown, the facial features are rounded and the eye is round. The hair is wrapped in a cloth behind the neck. The figure has two articulated arms (one detached and missing), and is overall decorated with polychrome pigment.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
