neck ornament (personal adornment)

One of two pieces of whale ivory approximately 10 cm long, carved into a curved, tapering spike and pierced at the thick end. These objects were formerly part of a waseisei necklace.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
