Knife made from a single piece of hard wood. The blade has a straight cutting edge, rounded nose and concave back. The handle is pierced, and has a loop of cord attached. The knife was probably used for tasks such as cutting fats and lifting pancakes.

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
