ear pendant

Ear pendant of turtleshell and beads. The body of the pendant is probably made of turtle shell, and has two large circular apertures above a third, smaller, central hole. Two strings of red glass beads are attached to the underside of the ornament, with blue beads at either end where they are joined.

Similar ornaments are illustrated by Koch for Santa Cruz as ear pendants, see Koch,1971,126.
