Spinning wheel. Vilpra, Udaipur State. Supposed to be in five parts.(1) The wheel. 8 planks with 2 notches on each outside edge, with an iron shaft passing through their centres, and a cylinder of wood attached to the shaft on one end. Diameter 17 ½ in.(2) Iron bar pointed at one end, with a cylinder of wood at one end. Length 17 in.(3) Piece of wood. Length 10 ½ in.(4) Stand. Shaft of wood with two pieces of wood joining at right angles at each end. Two other pieces of wood stand up in a perpendicular fashion from one of these latter pieces. Length 30 ½ in.
