The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Wooden stopper for a powder sprinkler painted in metallic paint to match the colour of the brass cylinder. The stopper fits inside the main body of the sprinkler and is carved to mirror the brass end. The stopper is stepped with a point projecting from the top.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
