Model of river boat. Model of round-hulled smooth-skinned boat with raised pointed ends, constructed of planks laid edge to edge and clamped together with metal staples. This feature is not indicated in the model except by grooves on the hull. Deck shelter of woven bamboo slivers. Not built to scale but well in proportion according to the donor – representing a boat 45 ft to 60 ft long. Made for donor by the boat builder at Barisal. Length 24 in. Height to deck 1 ½ in.
