The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Table. Four-legged table. The top of the table must be drawn aside to reach the drawer, which is really a box fixed underneath the table. The table legs are ornamented with notches.The date 1891 incised at one end. The top, which is formed of four planks and reinforced with lengths of wood secured to the top with nauils, may be a later replacement; the side panels are joined with pegs. Height:72 cm; Length:102 cm; Width:76 cm.
Used for meals. Dry food is kept in the drawer.
