Milk measuring cup. The “fele” represents half a cupful (the measuring cup by which milk is measured in the sheepfold has the capacity of one litre of milk). It has no decorative designs, with the exception of 2 parallel circles, made with the lathe, at the mouth of the cup and 2 more near the bottom. Made out of a single piece of wood. It has a small handle. (Maple wood). Height 80mm, diameter of bottom 42mm, diameter of mouth 135mm, capacity 1/2kg.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
