Rectangle of handwoven orange linen in a fairly loose weave, more or less completely covered in embroidery resembling supplementary weft, in a rich russet with discrete geometrical fret-like hook motifs in green and purple, with brown and black lozenges and detailing in pink, mauve and ochre with white flecks. This patterning is arranged in seven broad bands separated by sets of 2 parallel lines of supplementary weft in pink and brown alternately. Yarn ends of embroidered motifs mostly left loose on reverse. No cords to secure.
