Sour milk cask. Barrel-shaped, closed at both ends with a small opening for pouring in the milk and stopper. Made of staves held by linden circles. Unadorned. (Firwood staves, linden-wood hoops). Height 600mm, diameter at brim 250mm, capacity 25 cups.
Very common, never absent from the inventory of a sheep farm. In some of the villages in the pastoral area of the Rodna Mts., the larger kegs are called "budulauă". Their shape however is the same.
