Circumcision mask, red faced protruding eyes, upturned nose; fringe of vegetable fibre. Ridged headdress of blackened raffia on a fibre string backing. Black horizontal lines on the cheeks. Unpainted area below the mouth with traces of white on it. Wood used is Musangi Smithii. Called 'Mbuya', the male; red is male colour; worn flat on top of the head
