Two-keyed oboe.Index card reads: Two silver keys, flat, octagonal, mounted in turned rings. Dark stained wood; ivory mounts; plain tube without baluster. Twin holes for third finger only. Keys need resetting. Relap upper joint. Ex Peterborough Museum. Length overall: 588 mm, to holes: 477 mm; Bore at middle joint: 11.5 mm, at bell joint: 16 mm. Stamped 'G.C.PAYNE/LONDON' within a scroll, on all three joints.
