textile; jacket (clothing: outerwear); kebaya

A woman's yellow long-sleeved jacket, a 'kebaya'. According to a label sewn at the back of the neck, it is made of 'pure lambswool.' The fabric is an open mesh, industrially made, and comprises linked eight-pointed daisy-like flowers. The petals are outlined with a gold-coloured plastic (?) ribbon. The centre front panel is ruched. [Textile]
