
Gold pendant set with turquoise, coral, lapis lazuli and other semi-precious stones. Pointed ovoid shape, heavily studded with turquoises; central figure of Vishnu composed of green stones riding on Garuda made up of coral; both are flanked on either side by a flower made up of red and green stones, and a human figure made up of lapis lazuli; all four figures wear gold crowns. Reverse side-gold filigree scroll work with grotesque head composed of coral and turquoise. Possibly a representation of a khyung (mythical bird). From image. 2.7" (7)
