lucky charm; fertility object

A charm consisting of three black, wooden sticks. The sticks are tightly bound at one end with leather, with additional leather tied over this to form a pattern. Near this leather binding is a loosely tied ball of material, possibly forming a pendant. Near the other end is a section of string binding the sticks together. The section is possibly built up in layers, with leather at the base, followed by a layer of mud and textile and on the top is lengths of string.
