Bridal headdress made of a vertical semicircular forehead band of gilded white metal onto which are fixed vertical wires terminating in floral, shell and animal shapes decorated with kingfisher feathers, rose quartz, red pom poms and pearls. Two further semicircular metal panels are fixed vertically towards the rear of the headdress. From the base of the back panel hang two long magenta tassels. From the front of the headdress four gold tassels terminating in strands of blue velour hang from projecting heads of what appear to be dragons or possibly birds, forming a kind of veil over the bride's face. See 1971.350 (maybe same donor?).
