isipadji (pl. Izipadji), necklet worn by small girls (iintombe), though women may wear it if they wish. The small bhayi bag is isipadji, possibly so called because of its resemblance to a purse, called by the same name. Closes by means of bead loop (isango) and mother of pearl button (ighosha). Strung on cotton. Bead colours: orange, green, blue and white.
