Aluminium ring. With red and blue plastic inserts - worn by a samburu Sub-chief who had been to Marshabit and brought this ring from a Boran blacksmiths at Garba - Tulla. Boran blacksmiths usually melt blue and red biro tops and bodies to inset into their rings but the sub-chief did not know what this was made of.
