Bead necklace. Yellow and red beads from Maralal threaded on wire. No significance for yellow, just maridadi. Mother made and gave to newly married daughter as she left home for her new home with husband. She also wears special new shoes for this journey. She can never look back. Worn by newly married women. This necklace was manufactured in Ledero.
