The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Iron spiral armlet. Bought from Lkunono for a goat. Bought by father as part of dowry or by the new husband if father is too poor. Worn on arm by women friends. Worn on left arm because the right one is for working. Worn from marriage onwards. This one was manufactured in Lariak-orok, near Kisima by a Lkunono blacksmith.
