Zither (autoharp). Autoharp with 6 bars. 24 strings. "Muller's Accordzither", manufactured in Saxony for Alban Voigt & Co. Twenty-four strings, comprising five bass strings (C,D,G,C,D) and the remainder attached to pins set at an angle, and running diatonically in the key of G from E to B (2 1/2 octaves). Six damping bars labelled A to F giving chords C major, seventh on D, E minor, A minor and B minor. The whole body of dark stained wood. Angled bridge with a brass edge. Label on the lower part of the table indicating the notes on a stave. Complete and in good condition.
