tray (household miscellany)

Brass tray in low relief inlaid with gold and silver. Decorated with circular portraits and scenes - three portraits centrally of turbanned men, enclosed in a scroll, above a scene depicting Abraham and Isaac at the sacrifice. A bird above holding a lettered scroll in its beak; other scenes circle the centre three, all scenes and portraits have explanatory characters in Hebrew, the rim also has six inscriptions.
