Circular shield with an outward turned rim and four bosses, damascened with floral designs in red and black. On the reverse is a green velvet pad with one red velvet handle or loop (one loop is missing) and four iron rings. Labelled "Burmese false shield. Col. Watson", but is typically Indian in design.
