Turned wood vase, decorated with a scene showing two women clad in fur jackets and hats, cloth skirt and leggings, barefoot, probably pounding grain with large pestles in a mortar. On the ground beside them is a basket and a winnowing tray, both full of grain. They are working outside a square, wooden house on pillars with a tree beside it. Made in Russia and depicting the people of Siberia.
