Pattern book of Bulgarian national embroideries, part one, the west and north west areas. Published in Sophia by the Director of the National Museum of Ethnography, St. L. Kostov', in 1928/9 (second edition). There are eight pages of text, printed in two columns, Bulgarian on the left, French on the right. There follows 24 plates, four in black and white (I, II, XV, XVI), the remainder in full colour. All are photographic reproductions of details of multi-coloured embroidery on cream grounds.
