Pair of straw sandals. Twisted straw is interwoven to form the sole of the shoe and two twisted ropes of straw are crossed over with two other twisted ropes of straw to form support for the toes of the feet, and loop around the sides and heel of the foot. The strands of rope can be used to be self-looped around the foot and fastened. The sole follows the shapoe of the foot, and thereofre left and right shoe are identifiable. [Not easily displayed but in better condition than 1981.386 i&ii].
