Fish-trap (menabo atoosu); A conically-formed device made from small sticks of a thorny variety of vine, covered with vegetable leaves. The conical implement is to be filled with a small piece of bait, usually a kesoro (crayfish), and hung with the opening downwards in the water. After the other work near the stream is finished, the menabo atoosu is collected to see whether a fish has been trapped by the thorny sticks.
The trap is made ad hoc and thrown away after use.
