mask (stage of manufacture (dance & live theatre))

Part-carved mask of the Lady Ko-Omote, worked at the demonstration by Master Nohzin at the Horniman Museum on 17 September 1983. Ko-Omote is the character for which Master Nohzin is renowned. Also see 1984.29 - 31 for the stages in the carving sequence, and 1983.108 for the finished mask.
