mask (stage of manufacture (dance & live theatre))

Part-carved Noh mask of the Lady Ko-Omote. The features have been marked out in pencil, and the mouth and nose have been carved. There is an inscription on the reverse. Also see 1983.110, 1984.29 and 1984.31 for the other stages in the carving sequence, and 1983.108 for the finished mask.
