Long, rectangular felted mat ('Tatiya') for sitting or sleeping on. The textile has a cream ground and decoration in light and dark brown, pink and red on one side. The lattice pattern of the centre panel creates 4 diamond fields. Each contains 5 smaller latticed diamonds. Additonal lines create an eight-pointed star which is coloured in with pink. The triangular fields created by the main lattice contain smaller triangular shapes. These are coloured in with red. The outside of the frame/border is decorated with a running saw tooth pattern.
